The Importance of Code Order in Web Design -- Web Design Services

In web design, codes or tags used in HTML describe what a page should look like and how a page should act or behave when it appears online. Accessing the page online, one might see a plain page with information and content, a logo, some ads and subscriber box. But imagine there’s another layer after the online page, and there you would see web design codes that make the online page display as it does for the readers or users.

For most web designers, creating these codes need a lot of attention as you wouldn’t want to see an online site with a page containing overlapping texts and images that are hardly understandable much less visually pleasing. That happens most likely due to codes that have not been arranged properly and in chronological order, thus causing one element super-imposing on another.

Every web site designer should have at least the basic knowledge about creating codes and how to organize them for a better visual display of the page online. Understanding what the design codes are meant to accomplish will give you a better picture of the importance of code order in any web design.

Now that search engine optimization plays a vital role in website indexing and brand awareness, correctly arranging a website’s code order will help any website to rank better. Knowing which website content has more weight for search engine robots and giving higher priority in it will definitely be one of the reasons for good ranking position in search engines.

For a page to be interactive HTML codes are used. A user can see a page where he can fill out a subscription box which after clicking “submit” will send the form directly to the site owner. The user might see flashing ads and banners, rotating or fading-in and -out images, etc. And how about video streaming, popup ads, hover ads, video and audio files? All of these elements are happening on the page because of the codes. HTML web design codes have removed barriers that once made all pages dull and static or motionless.

HTML code differentiates a publishing page from a web page. HTML language communicates with Internet that the page you have coded is not just a regular publishing page as in MS Publisher, MS Word, Microsoft Works, etc.  And when the page is actually transferred to the server to become an online web page, the HTML code together with other programming language scripts will translate to the server what the page should look like and how should it behave in terms of graphics, audio files, or video files.

With this knowledge, the codes in your web design should be organized such that there is smooth and non-overlapping movement of the different design elements on a page. The Internet servers and the web page will be able to communicate accurately as to what elements should display on which page. Web designs with good code order will provide the users with smooth navigation of the web pages, clearly seeing all the design elements as they were intended to be and not a messed-up page with muddled text and images; and at the same time, would provide search engines with more valuable information that has ranking factor.

So if by chance you accessed a website that shows some text portions of the content being covered partially by an image, you know that there is a problem in the code of the web design. When you accessed a page that does not move when it should, you know that the code for that interaction may have been thrown someplace else.

A good web design painstakingly pays attention to these minute details because without code order, no one would understand what a web page is meaning to inform because the visual display of the page will not be coherent for any reader or user and for search engine robots as well.

So, if you are planning to get web design services, you know what to look for in a web design company. A company that does not only offer functional design for internet users but functional code order for search engine robots to interpret as well. It pays to have both for better user experience and for better ranking position in search. If a real good web design company can hit these two; then there shouldn’t be any hindrances in getting their service for you are in good hands and sure to have functional website.
